Alyssa is a senior majoring in Political Science and Sociology. This is her third year doing mock trial and and she plans on attending law school after graduation to study the intersections between law, politics and the media! She is also interested in constitutional , entertainment and criminal law.
Sofia Tascon

Sofia is a junior majoring in Political Science and English who wants to pursue a law degree and become a trial attorney. This will be her fifth year doing Mock Trial! She is very excited to start the new competitive season up and continue building bonds with teams across the country!
Tyler Opdyke

Tyler is a senior majoring in Political Science and Communications who will be attending law school after graduation. He has been doing Mock Trial for four years now, and can’t wait to make new friends in the coming competitive season, and travel for competition!
Sofia Lloyd-Still

Sofia is a Junior studying Political Science and Sociology with plans to attend law school in the future. She has been competing in Mock Trial since high school and enjoys learning about all types of law. She is excited to get to know the new members in the program and can’t wait to travel with her teammates this upcoming year!
Josh Lowenstern

Josh is a senior majoring in Chemistry who wants to go to law school once he graduates. Josh has been doing Mock Trial for three years now, and can’t wait to help FSU Mock Trial’s captains thrive and help include our general body.
Daniel Martinez

Daniel is a sophomore majoring in finance! He plans to go to law school once he graduates. This is his 2nd year doing mock trial. He is excited for this new year with the program and to help get awesome judges for our competitions!
Joseph Lucas

Joseph is a sophomore double majoring in Economics and political Science! He’s been doing mock trial for 2 years and after graduation, plans on going to law school. He can't wait to meet his new teammates!

Allison is a sophomore majoring in Crimonology and minoring in psychology. This is her fifth year doing mock trial and and she plans on attending law school after graduation hopefully at Florida State! She is very excited to host our Regional tournament this spring!

#75 IN THE NATION
Since 2008, the competitors at Florida State Mock Trial have worked together to do one thing: succeed. That goal has been met countless times by countless students that have joined, grown, and graduated from our program. In the 2020-2021 season alone, our competitors received 52 individual awards, five 1st place finishes, nine top-4 finishes, 3 bids to the nation's Opening Round Championship Series, and a bid to the National Championship Tournament.

In the few years that FSU Mock Trial has been active, our program has quickly grown beyond the scope of our Tallahassee campus. Our tournaments- the Capital City Invitational and the Sunshine State Showdown- are a way to give back to the activity that has brought us all together at both the collegiate and high school level.
​
Whether it be in the courtroom, the classroom, or abroad, the Seminoles at Florida State Mock Trial have always strived to be the very best advocates they can be- for themselves and others.
